Makeover

            Before and After

Hair

Colouring

I did a full head of low lights using foils by weaving in the hair using a 8.66, light intense red blonde. And a 8.4 light copper blonde as a full head tint, applying the tint around the foils keeping both of the colour separate whilst developing. Colour was then left to develop for 35 minutes then rinsed out.

Cutting

Once the colour had been rinsed out I then cut the length of the hair at 0 degrees and the layers at 45 degrees and shaped around the face again at 45 degrees.

Styling
I then blow dried the hair with a flat paddle brush to achieve a flat smooth look but also by brig in the brush upwards to 45 degrees I then also created some volume around the crown area and also created a fuller fringe by using a paddle brush at 45 degrees. I then for the finish touch straightened the ends of the hair only for a perfect smooth results whilst also adding a touch of flexible hold hairspray that's used by spraying the hair then styling for then the hair will sit in place once sprayed and styled after.

Make-up

Foundation base and contouring

I mixed a small amount of pale base foundation with a small amount of a olive toned base foundation together to create the perfect base colour. I then applied the base colour by starting from the neck upwards to the chin, cheeks, nose, eyes and forehead giving a complete coverage. I then added some translucent powder again working my way from the neck upwards towards the forehead the translucent powder takes away the shine and gives you a matt finish look. I then added some contouring by shaded her cheek bone with a darker brown and a pink glittery blusher by working from the cheek bones to the temples.

Eyes
I added highlighting on the eyebrow bone, underneath the eyes to brighten them up and added some light beige, light brown for a natural smokey eyes look and a light brown eyeliner with a very light beige eyebrow colour to fill in the eyebrows.

Mouth
I used a neutral choco brown lip liner to define the lips more and to create the top lip a slightly bit fuller matching the bottom lip, added a neutral rossetto/ brownie, pink matt lipstick for a natural beautiful finish.

Perfect acne coverage with Bare Minerals

I always get told that my skin looks very flawless and how well i do cover it, by suffering with adult acne its not always easy to have a perfect result. So I though I would give you my secret on what i use on my skin to cover it up and calm it as i know there are people out there that suffer from acne or if not worst..

Suffering with acne isn't easy your always self conscious about how you look and some days your skin can be worst than others. My secret is Bare Minerals. Why? because its natural!

Bare Minerals has very natural ingredients that it lets your skin breath. its so natural that you can even wear it at the gym, and not worry about it clogging up your pores or having to on continuing applying after. Its also been said that you can even sleep wearing them! unlike some foundation bases that just clogs up your pores. Not lasting all day and giving you a shinny, sweaty face. And the only time your letting your skin breath is when you remove it in the evening so it breaths over night. By using bare minerals you will have long lasting, flawless coverage, it lets your skin breath, its a lightweight wear, rich pigmentation with creamy bendability with UVA/UVB sun protection.

What do I use and how do i apply it onto my skin ?
I use the medium beige foundation following a mineral veil.

Medium Beige foundation
Its applied by swirling a small amount of bare minerals foundation in the lid until it all disappears into the brush, then you tap away excess and buff onto the skin in a circular motion, the more you buff it the more into your layers of your skin the minerals will sit. Rather than sitting on the first layer of the skin, were it can easily be removed just by a touch.

Mineral veil
I then apply the mineral veil by swirling a small amount on to the lid until it all disappears into the brush, then you tap away the excess and buff starting on the outside of your face near your cheekbone, swirling as you go. Buff around your face and then approach your forehead, cheeks and nose. The mineral veil is a finishing powder, a see-through but spectacular finale for any kind of complexion. Minimising lines, pores, absorbing oils, and softening your completion, it gives you a flawless finish and best of all utterly weightless that locks make-up in place and gives your skin an air brushed perfection.

These are the results of a before and after pictures of my skin with out bare minerals and the with..
I absolutely adore bare minerals!! And I would highly recommend it for people that suffer not only the conditions that I suffer with. But if your looking for a flawless perfect airbrushed look, Id suggest bare minerals..

You can order it online at lookfantastic.com or a beauty salon that stocks it in but i would recommend to go into a beauty salon and find out what colour skin tone you are by having a professional apply it onto your skin so you don't get a too light or too dark colour that doesn't match your skin.
